正直言います。音楽でいうところのインターフェース（オーディオ・インターフェース）ってなに？って、ごく最近まで思ってました…。
「オーディオ・インターフェース」の役割
- マイクやギター、シンセなどの音をパソコンに取り込む（A/D）
- 取り込んだ音を再生する(D/A)

単なるボイスレコーディングなら、直接スマホに音入れるノリで問題ありません。しかし、ちゃんとしたヴォーカル音源としては聴けたものではなくなります。
その理由は以下の三つです。

- 遅れ（レイテンシー）
- 入出力数
If it's just a voice recording, you can just put the sound directly into your phone and you're good to go. However, as a proper vocal recording, it is terrible to listen to.

まあ、正直お金かるに越したことはないんですが…。安定した音質の為には最低限のレベルはクリアしたいものです。

ダイナミックマイク Dynamic microphone
振動板が振動→磁界の中をコイルが動く→音が電気信号になるという単純な仕組みのマイクです。身の回りにあるスピーカーと同じ方式（ムービングコイル方式）。
Sound is first converted to mechanical motion by means of a diaphragm, the motion of which is then converted to an electrical signal. This is the same system as speakers around you (moving coil system).
- 耐久性がある（ライブ向き）
- 無駄な音を拾わない、ハウリングが起こりにくい
- Durable (suitable for live performance)
- Doesn't pick up unnecessary sound, prevents acoustic feedback
コンデンサマイク Condencer Microphone
フィルム状のコンデンサに電圧（ファンタム電源）をかけておき、フィルムが振動すると中の電荷が変化することで音声を信号に変換する。
A voltage (phantom power) is applied to a film capacitor, and when the film vibrates, the charge inside changes, converting audio into a signal.
- 遠くの音を集音できる＞＞空調や車の音などが入りやすくなるので、防音できていない部屋には適さない（部屋鳴り、要注意！）
- 高域特性が有利（ギター音など）、立ち上がりが鋭い音が拾える
- Capable of collecting distant sounds > > Not suitable for rooms that are not soundproofed, as air conditioning and car noise can easily enter (Be careful about room resonance!)
- High frequency characteristics are advantageous (e.g., guitar sound) and can pick up sound with sharp rise.

コンデンサーマイクと口もとの適切な距離＝こぶし一つ分(10ｃｍ)! 20-30cmは開けすぎです！ 理由は口とマイクとの間に空気があるためのノイズになるから。安定した距離を保つために、マイクスタンドとともに、適切な距離に設置したポップガード（ポップ音を軽減）やショックマウント（物理的振動を軽減）にピッタリくっついて歌いましょう。。（声が大き過ぎる場合は、インターフェースの方を調節し、マイクからは決して離れないでください）
The proper distance between the condenser microphone and your mouth = one fist (10cm)! 20-30 cm is too far! The reason is because of the noise caused by the air between your mouth and the microphone. To maintain a stable distance, sing with the microphone perfectly attached to a pop guard (to reduce popping noises) or shock mount (to reduce physical vibration) placed at an appropriate distance along with the microphone stand.
