自宅録音（宅録）の音質がいまいちな時に、チェックすべき項目を調べました。限られた予算ですが、せっかく録音するならいい音がいいにきまっている！というか、いい音でないと聴けない…。（←冨田ラボが好きな理由←そしてわれわれの資金は冨田ラボほど潤沢ではない）
What should we do when the sound of your home-recording is not good? Here is my research. 部屋環境は最重要！ The room environement is the most important!
ミキサーぴくせるさんの記事によると、ボーカルにおける投資のプライオリティは以下です。
- 部屋の環境(部屋鳴り対策)
- マイクなどの機材

According to mixer Pixel's article, the priority for investment by vocal should be as follow:
- Room environment (measures to avoid room resonances)
- Device such as microphones
- Mix charge
…ミキサーさんなのに、ミックス代金が最後なんですよ。
で、なぜ部屋環境に一番カネをかけるべきかと言うと、
Despite being a mixer, he placed "mixing" on the third in his ranking. Why should you put priority on "room environment"?
結論：どんなにいいマイクでも、部屋の反響音が入ってしまうと綺麗にMixができない
Conclusion: No matter how high-quality mic you used, good mixing is impossible when room resonances are recorded.
むしろ、いいマイクを使えば使うほど、周りの雑音・反響音（部屋鳴り）を拾ってしまう！

Frequency Spectrum（周波数分布表）ってのが面白かったです。周波数で音の雰囲気＝伝える感情が決まってしまうというのは、当たり前と言えば当たり前だけど、恐ろしいことでもある。
Frequency Spectrum is very interesting. The mood of the sound, i.e. feeling to be transmitted is decided by the degree of frequency. That seems to be reasonable, but such a controlling power of sound is a bit terrifying.
部屋鳴りを抑えるには？ How to constrain room resonance
- 部屋に柔らかいものを多く置く(ベッドやソファー、クッションなど)
- マイクの後ろにバスタオルや、布団をかける
- 壁から離してマイクを置く
- リフレクションフィルターを導入する *
＊ただ、リフレクションフィルターは効果がないという動画もあります
- Put soft things in your room (Bed, sofa, cussion, etc.)
- Put thick towel or blanket behind the mike
- Set your mic away from the wall
- Use reflection filter*
* However, the reflection filter is not perfect according to this video.

まとめ Wrap-up
もっとも気を付けるべき点は「部屋鳴り」ですが、実はベッドって音吸収するからいいんだね。(間違ってもキッチンやバスルームはダメだよ‼) だからビリー・アイリッシュとフィニアスの「ベッドルームで作ってグラミー賞」というのは実は理にかなっているという。注意：ベッドで録音したからといって賞が獲れることを保証するものではありません。
For home recording, the first thing you have to do is "to kill room resonance"! Actually, bed is a good song absorber. (Never record your song in the kitchen or bathroom. Never.) So Billie and Finneas's Grammy with an album made in a bedroom is actually reasonable. WARNING: We will not guarantee your Grammy by the fact that you recorded your song in your bedroom.
