英語版の「南島」（原曲：坂本龍一「東風」）が完成しました。これは香港の南Y島（ラマ島）をイメージした歌詞です。香港島からフェリーで30分の小さな島です。豊かな自然の暮らしにあこがれ、本島から”移住”する若者も少なくない、という話を、閉鎖された新聞デイリー・アップルの動画で知りました。新聞は終了し、動画サイトももうありません。中国よ、わたしから愛するものたちを奪わないで。
I made the English version of "South Island" based on "Tong Poo" composed by Ryuichi Sakamoto. My lyrics are inspired by Lamma Island, a small island, half an hour away by ferry from Hong Kong Island. Not a few HK young people "immigrate" to Lamma Island for enjoying natural life. I heard this information via a YouTube program under the group of Daily Apple. It was shut down in the wake of the closing of the newspaper. Please don't deprive me of my favourites, China.

Listening to her cover of Billie Eilish, I asked Sonia to sing this. She is young but is able to internalize the implications of lyrics and sing it as her own expression.

この方の歌い方って”旅”感があるんですよね…。だから…エゴ・ラッピンがカバーしてた久保田早紀の『異邦人』とかも合うような気がします
Her vocal has a sense of "traveling." So her voice goes well with the exiotic melody of "Ihojin" by Saki Kubota, which was covered by EGO-WRAPPIN.'
