桑布伊說【擁抱 maava】乍聽之下是一首情歌，但它不是情歌，而是述說環境、土地對我們的擁抱，大自然對我們的擁抱。或許也可以當作是情歌，像是樹一樣抱住了你。
桑布伊說：
「這首歌是在布拉瑞揚的舞團開始的。那裡有一台不是很好的鋼琴，練舞場裡面沒什麼人，我在那邊彈。布拉瑞揚是我很尊敬的大哥哥，他對舞蹈的執著、回到台東對這些孩子的訓練，我覺得很感動。他的行為都是一種愛的表現吧？他是排灣族，我想說用些略熟的排灣族曲調，用這樣的方式編看看，然後寫給他。後面就想到，誒，這樣的愛比較小，我就放大一點，變成是環境的愛，而且又碰到疫情，剛好去年寫，就整理成這首歌。
我覺得台灣這塊土地，有很多人來殖民過，可是土地從來不會選擇是誰，她一樣給你養分，她不會分。土地就是母親，還是包容我們，沒有傷害我們，除了我們傷害自己而已。

"This song started in a dance company in Brarjan. There was a not-so-great piano there, and there was no one in the practice space, so I played there. I think I was very touched by Brarjan's dedication to dance and his training of these children back in Taitung. His actions are all a sign of love, right? He is a Paiwan, so I wanted to use some familiar Paiwan tunes and choreograph them in this way and write them to him.Then I thought, "Eh, this kind of love is relatively small, so I enlarged it a bit and turned it into the love of the environment, and it came across the epidemic, and I just wrote it last year, so I compiled it into this song.
I think the land of Taiwan has been colonized by many people, but the land never chooses who it is, it gives you the same nourishment, it will not share. The land is the mother, still tolerates us, does not hurt us, except for us to hurt ourselves.

The Paiwan (Paiwan: Payuan) are a group of Taiwan's indigenous people.
